GX Flow Centers

The GX Flow Center is an extremely efficient and reliable means to circulate the fluid in a geothermal system that has multiple heat pumps. The efficiency is due to the state-of-the-art WILO MAXO variable speed pump that incorporates a variable delta P flow control algorithm. The reliability stems from maintaining a flooded and primed pump regardless of system pressure.

To properly select the right GX Flow Center for your application the entire piping system pressure drop must be calculated at an anticipated full load diversified flow rate. Typically, this full load flow rate will be between 2-1/4 & 2-1/2 gpm/ton, but it requires a full understanding of the heat pump capacity versus the load its serving. This selection should be made prior to installation so that pipe sizing can also be optimized.
